Home from Hospital
Refreshing Care offers this service to help you read just back into your home after a period in hospital. Whether its recovery from an operation, an injury or recovering from an illness, we will be on hand to help you transition back into full independence. Our fully trained staff will support you with mobility and all aspects of daily life to integrate you back into your home, building your confidence every step of the way.
Respite Care
Research shows that we need to take a break and replenish, so we can be at our best whether at work, home or anywhere else. With our respite care, we offer you that break from caring for a loved one. Like our name, it is vital you are refreshed so you can continue to give your loved one your best. Whether you require a short or longer break, we can tailor our care package to suit you and meet the needs of your loved one. Once the period the respite is required is agreed, we can offer occasional visits, night care or live-in-care for 24hrs while you take that break to recharge physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Diabetes Care
A diagnosis of diabetes can have a life changing effect, and may also make your usual everyday tasks, or activities of life more demanding. At Refreshing Care, we understand the importance of managing diabetes effectively so you can live a fulfilled life. Our refreshing care staff will assist you with taking your insulin or any other diabetic medication at the time it needs to be taken, as well as support you with other care needs or tasks in your home so you can live comfortably. Additionally, we will also support you to maintain the positive lifestyle changes that you may make because of living with the condition.
Palliative Care
This type of care involves bettering the quality of life of a person experiencing a life-threatening condition. This service is so close to our heart because we understand the impact that a life- threatening diagnosis or prognosis, can have on an individual and their family. Our refreshing care staff will support you and your family as you make any adjustments required during this period and ensure we always care for you effectively and maintain your dignity throughout. We will tailor your care to you and your family’s preferences, we are able to support you with medications you may be taking for symptom control, as well as working with your health care professionals to support you.
